Alembic Distillery is located near the port of Kanazawa, where you can see the Hakusan Mountains in the distance on a clear day. In Kanazawa, a city with a rich culinary culture, Alembic's aim is to create a gin that accompanies and com- plements food.
The name, Alembic Distillery is derived from the Alembic Stills, which were used in ancient alchemy and later changed in use and shape to be used in the production of spirits even today. Its symbolic essence, which have been refined to meet the needs of the times and continue to be used to this day, are similar to the culture of Kanazawa, where tradition and innovation have repeatedly fostered a high level of technology and aesthetic sensitivity.
Our production method is true to the basics, but not unnecessarily eccen- tric. Alembic will continue to create drinks that can accompany people in their daily lives, where they share intimate moments over meals.

Our production method is true to the basics, but not unnecessarily eccentric. Combining tradition and innovation, we have sought out Japan’s distinctive aromas and flavors, while making the most of gin’s diverse aromatic attractions.
We have focused on creating gin as a mealtime drink because we want people to enjoy it in the company of family and friends, both drinkers and non-drinkers. Alembic will continue to create drinks that can accompany people in their daily lives, where they share intimate moments over meals.
